Seasonal Themes

1st period - Full Year
Instructor: Gina Burgard
Curriculum: NA
Summary: Children will participate in numerous activities/crafts/projects relating to the current season. If you sign your child up for this class they must be signed up for the Math class also.
Homework: Occasional
Supplies Needed: Pencil, crayons, scissors, glue stick, white glue

Snack/Gym

2nd period - Full Year
Instructor: Michelle Gibson
Curriculum: NA
Summary: We will have a fun time playing games and getting our exercise while doing it. Snack time will take place during the second half of the period. The K4 & K5 classes will be combined for this class period.
Homework: None
Supplies Needed: Comfortable clothing, sneakers. Individual snacks are to be provided by parents.
Class Fee: None


Math

3rd period - Full Year
Instructor: Gina Burgard
Curriculum: NA
Summary: Children will spend time learning math skills as well as engaging in fun projects that will help reinforce these skills. A number of the activities tie along with the Seasonal Themes class.  If you sign your child up for this class they must be signed up for the Seasonal Themes class also.

ABC Storytime

4th period - Full Year
Instructor: Debbie Jackson
Curriculum: We will use a variety of books.
Summary: Each week we will have a story to go along with the letter of the alphabet that we are learning. We will then do activities to go along with the story like; have a special treat, make a craft, and etc..
Homework: None
Supplies Needed:Pencil, crayons, glue stick, and scissors.
Class Fee: $5

Science

5th period - Full Year
Instructor: Julie Phipps
Curriculum: Janice VanCleave's Play and Find Out About... series
Summary: We will take one quarter to study each of these categories: Nature, General Science, Bugs, and the Human Body. This is a hands-on class with lots of experiments and model-making to illustrate various science facts..
Homework: None
Supplies Needed: Writing pencil, crayons or markers, glue stick, and scissors
Class Fee: $5
