Girls Basketball
We are starting our fifth year of girls basketball this 2010 - 2011 season. We would gladly welcome new members (5th grade through high school). No previous experience is necessary. While 5th grade players are welcome to participate in practices, they may not play in games until they reach middle school.
Practices will begin August 2 and every Monday thereafter [8/9, 8/16. 8/23, 8/30], 10:00 - 11:30 am at basketball courts on Adele Avenue in Manheim.
During the CHASE school year, practices will take place in the gym immediately following the CHASE day from 2:00 - 3:15 pm.
Each student will need to submit a completed 2010-11 Medical Release form before August practices.
Girls will need a cross trainer sneaker or preferably a basketball sneaker. There will be a fee collected from each player to defray the cost of gym rental for hosting games and to pay referees. See Lisa Brown for details.
